Together with The Midnight Club, I worked with Adidas and END Clothing to celebrate their Bauhaus sneaker collection launch. We created a VR experience and website showcasing three environments inspired by the legendary school and sneakers. ‘ The Lobby’ transplants the Handball Spezial shoe into an ethereal setting filled with Marcel Breuer’s Model B3 chairs. ‘The Outside’ works the Bermuda shoe into a serene landscape inspired by Frank Lloyd White’s Fallingwater House. The third area, ‘The Library’, riffs on the iconic codes of Bauhaus complete with the collection’s ZX 420; the much-loved Ball Wall Clock by George Nelson; and Walter Gropius’ legendary Bauhaus building in the background. The work was showcased at the END store in Manchester as well as online.
